Chick-Fil-A restaurants all over the country celebrate their annual Cow Appreciation Day by offering a free entree to any guest that fully dresses like a cow. This year the day took place on July 11 from open to 7 p.m. and people from all over dressed head-to-hoof to enjoy a free breakfast, lunch or dinner! Some come in full cow costumes while others just tote a cow themed accessory, like a headband or scarf. This event is Chick-Fil-A’s biggest promotion of the year, as the company gave away 1.6 million free meals last year and they expect to keep growing. This is the 13th year in a row that Chick-Fil-A has offered this popular promotion and it was originally scheduled for Fridays, but demand was so high they were forced to move it to a slower day of the week, such as Tuesday. There are 28 entrees to choose from when selecting your free meal ranging from the Original Chick-Fil-A sandwich, the seasonal BBQ Bacon Sandwich and breakfast favorites. Anyone who participates is sure to find a tasty treat to enjoy and celebrate in their black spotted outfits.
