The Eastwood Ranch Foundation hosted their 2nd Annual Art for the Animals Fundraiser this week at the De Re Gallery in West Hollywood.
Founded by actress/director Alison Eastwood, the Eastwood Ranch Foundation “provides support to animal welfare groups, non kill shelters, rescues and sanctuaries around the U.S. by providing funding, support and logistical assistance to help better manage their organization.” The Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Los Angeles, California. Eastwood Ranch helps to rescue animals from high kill shelters, and uses their donations to promote no kill shelters.
Alison, along with her husband, Clint Eastwood, hosted this week’s event with various artists on display, along with plenty of vegan hors d’oeuvres served throughout the evening. Attendees included Keanu Reeves, Frances Fisher, David Arquette, journalists from the Huffington Post, and many others.
The money raised during this event will expand the reach of the Eastwood Ranch Foundation. In addition to rescue efforts, funds go toward education, awareness, and petitioning on behalf of animals everywhere.
At the event, Alison expressed her gratitude to all who supported ERF’s mission: “We are so honored to be able to help animals in need and do our part to rescue homeless pets. It’s only through the generosity of our community that we can do this needed work and we appreciate your support!”
