GEORGIA:
A college base ball team has adopted a new “bat dog” this week, after the puppy was found in the stadium, apparently abandoned.

The team in Savannah, the Bananas, made the announcement this week that their team president and his wife, Jared and Kelsey Orton, has adopted the seven week old puppy, who they’ve named Daisy. They found the dog, crying in the stadium parking lot with no identification pointing to an owner.

Thanks to the Ortons, we’d like to name Ms Daisy our Dog of the Week. And one more thing to love about baseball season!
